Peer Pressure.

Mason has been pulling up wherever possible.  He loves to stand, loves to do a little dance while he's standing, and loves to practice standing with no hands.
Saturday night, we went to meet some of Tyler's new coworkers.  One of the couples there had a 15 month old daughter, that of course, was walking all over the place.
Mason was intrigued.  He loves seeing other babies, and this one (who was only a couple pounds heavier and not too much bigger) was walking.  Mason was inspired.
He crawled over to me, pulled up using my foot (that's talent, folks), did the no-hands-I-look-like-I'm-surfing-jig, and then proceeded by taking a step forward.  Yes, he took a step.  Just one, but still, it was totally unexpected.
I don't think he's too close to walking on his own because is still extremely wobbly, but that little step was like a glimpse into the future.

Won't be long now! My oldest was like that, always raring to go. He was taking steps at 8 months, and by 10 had it down reeeal good. Lace up your runnin' shoes, Mama! ;)

Awww! Wow! Burkley hasn't even figured out crawling yet. So cute though- and hooray for your little guy! (and yay that you're on FB now!)
